On 15 April, people across the world will take action to challenge military spending and call for it to be redirected to meet human needs. In the UK, grassroots organisations are coming together to make that message clear at a time when our public services face drastic spending cuts.
Can your organisation support the day of action?
The simplest way to get involved is to add your name to the list of supporting organisations for our call to action.
After that we’ll keep you in touch with other ways you could support action on military spending. Your organisation could, for example:
- Post messages about what you’d prioritise instead of the UK’s £39 billion military spending on your social media. (#demilitarize)
- Encourage your networks to organise actions on 15 April (and publicise them on our events page)
- Take part in the press stunt in London on 15 April.
