As part of activities for the Global Days of Action Military Spending – Women in Black made their regular vigil on 22 April about the issue of military spending, asking those passing by what they would spend the current military budget on.
Ideas provided by the public included education, tackling the climate emergency, rebuilding Gaza and eradicating food and water poverty around the world. All these things would make huge difference to the wellbeing of humanity.
